Hamas announces implementation of Israeli hostage release decision

Hamas has announced that it will implement the decision to release Israeli hostages under the terms of the ceasefire agreement. The decision follows discussions held by Hamas representatives with Egyptian and Qatari mediators in Cairo regarding the ceasefire conditions.
During the talks, discussions were also held regarding the continuous supply of essentials for Palestinians, including shelter, tents, medical supplies, fuel, and other humanitarian aid. Hamas stated in a statement on social media that the discussions with the Egyptian and Qatari mediators were positive, and the mediators assured that obstacles to implementing the agreement would be removed.
The statement further emphasized that Hamas would adhere to the agreed-upon timetable for the release of prisoners and other aspects of the ceasefire deal as per the terms outlined in the agreement.
