Hamas Hands Over Another Hostage’s Body to Israel Under Peace Agreement

The Palestinian resistance group Hamas has handed over another Israeli hostage’s body to Israel as part of the peace agreement implementation. The Israeli army confirmed that the body was received through the Red Cross. This step comes as part of ongoing efforts to uphold the Gaza ceasefire deal between the two sides.

According to Israeli media, the body has been moved to a forensic institute for identification. Once confirmed, the family of the deceased will be contacted. This process is being carried out under humanitarian arrangements agreed upon in the ceasefire framework.

Reports indicate that Hamas initially had the bodies of 28 Israeli hostages, out of which 23 have already been handed over to Israel. The remaining five bodies are still in Hamas’ possession and are expected to be delivered soon.

A Hamas spokesperson stated that the group remains committed to fulfilling all clauses of the peace deal. They added that the remaining bodies will be returned to Israel shortly as part of ongoing humanitarian efforts.
