Human smuggler arrested in connection with the Morocco boat tragedy

Gujranwala: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested a human smuggler, Mohammad Aslam, involved in a tragic boat incident off the coast of Morocco that claimed the lives of several Pakistanis. Aslam was apprehended in the Sambrial area of Gujranwala.
According to FIA officials, Aslam, along with his accomplices, attempted to Human smuggler Ameer Ali to Spain. Initially, the victim was sent to Mauritania, and then the smugglers tried to transport him by boat to Spain. The boat tragedy resulted in the deaths of several Pakistanis.
The suspects allegedly extorted Rs. 5.35 million from the victim’s family to facilitate his illegal journey abroad. FIA officials have registered a case against Aslam and are continuing their investigation into the matter.
