Former Prime Minister and founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, has reportedly revealed that he still has one “last card” left to play, but he will not disclose any details about it yet. His sister, Aleema Khan, shared this information with the media after visiting him in Adiala Jail on Tuesday.

According to Aleema Khan, Imran Khan instructed his wife, Bushra Bibi, on how to lead the protests towards Islamabad, adding that she followed his instructions carefully. She also commented on the tragic events at D-Chowk, saying that she was unable to stop the violence, and emphasised that Bushra Bibi took the lead in managing the protests.

Aleema Khan further explained that Imran Khan is in shock over the incident at D-Chowk and is determined to take the matter to the Supreme Court and international organizations. She clarified that he has not yet used his “last card,” but plans to do so in the future.

Addressing rumours about her brother’s health, Aleema Khan dismissed claims that Imran Khan was being poisoned or suffering from mental health issues. She said that he is in good health, despite being kept in confinement for 50 hours and having his access to media restricted.

Regarding the events surrounding the May 9 violence, Aleema Khan stated that the firing and subsequent deaths were a result of unjust actions, with people being targeted by snipers during the protests. She likened the operations to those of Lal Masjid and Akbar Bugti, suggesting that the military’s actions have left the nation in anger and shock. She questioned why the firing took place and expressed her concern over the unjust treatment of the protesters.

Imran Khan’s sisters, Aleema Khan, Uzma Khan, and Noreen Khan, all visited him in jail to offer support and shared their concerns regarding the ongoing situation. Aleema Khan revealed that Imran Khan had been unaware of the full extent of the events that transpired after November 24 until he met with lawyers and journalists on Monday.
