A passenger flight from India was forced to make an emergency landing at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport after a medical emergency on board. The flight, operated by an Indian airline, was en route from Delhi to Jeddah when a male passenger’s health suddenly deteriorated while the aircraft was flying over Pakistan’s airspace.

The pilot immediately contacted air traffic control to request an emergency landing. Following the request, permission was granted for the plane to divert to Karachi, where the airport authorities were ready to help.

Upon landing, the Civil Aviation Authority’s medical team quickly boarded the aircraft and provided immediate medical assistance to the ailing passenger. The team worked swiftly to stabilise the individual, although no further details about the passenger’s condition were shared.

The swift response from the crew and ground medical teams ensured that the situation was handled efficiently, preventing further complications. The flight resumed its journey after the passenger received the necessary medical care.
