Indian soldier arrested after illegally crossing into Pakistani territory


Lahore: Pakistan Rangers have arrested an Indian Border Security Force (BSF) soldier who illegally crossed the international border and entered Pakistani territory in the Ferozepur sector.
The arrested soldier has been identified as Constable P.K. Singh, a member of the BSF’s 182nd Battalion. According to sources, the soldier was armed at the time of his arrest.
The incident marks a serious violation of border protocols, prompting immediate concern from both sides. Flag-level talks between Pakistan Rangers and BSF officials are currently underway to discuss the situation.
Indian media reports state that Indian security forces have formally requested the return of the detained soldier.
