Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi commits to restoring peace in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has emphasised the government’s commitment to taking all necessary measures to restore peace in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. His remarks came after a meeting with veteran politician Aftab Khan Sherpao, during which they discussed the current political and security situation in the province.

The minister also provided updates on the ongoing initiatives aimed at restoring peace in Kurram, highlighting efforts to address security concerns in the region.

Naqvi praised Aftab Sherpao’s long-standing contributions to politics, acknowledging his services in the field. The minister stressed the importance of preventing any political exploitation of the sensitive issue of Kurram.

“We will go to any extent to restore peace in the province,” Naqvi asserted, reaffirming the government’s determination to resolve security challenges and ensure stability in the region.
