Iran-Israel Conflict Disrupts Global Air Travel: 6,000 Flights Cancelled in Two Days

The ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel has severely disrupted international air travel, with aviation sources reporting that nearly 6,000 flights have been cancelled worldwide within just two days.

According to aviation reports, Israel’s Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport is among the most affected, where approximately 100 flights operate daily to 44 countries. Due to the conflict, dozens of these flights have now been suspended.

Sources confirm that several major airports in the region, including Damascus (Syria), Baghdad (Iraq), Tehran (Iran), Beirut (Lebanon), and Queen Alia Airport in Amman (Jordan), remain closed due to security concerns, causing widespread flight cancellations.

Jordan, which typically handles around 81 flights daily to 40 international destinations, is also experiencing major disruptions as regional airspace closures continue.

Flight radar data indicates that around 3,000 flights are being cancelled daily from the affected airports alone due to the persistent closure of Syrian, Iranian, and nearby airspaces.
