Pakistani students leave

Amid the rising tension between Iran and Israel, more than 100 medical students studying in Iran have fled to Pakistan to ensure their safety, according to a recent update from the Pakistan International Medical Students Association (PIMSA).

PIMSA confirmed that around 80 students from Hormozgan Medical University and 97 from Zanjan Medical University have already crossed into Pakistan. The association also reported that many students from universities in Tehran are now moving towards the Pakistan border, seeking a safe exit from the conflict zone.

In its statement, PIMSA expressed gratitude to the Pakistani Embassy in Iran for its continuous support, which has played an essential role in protecting the students and assisting with their safe travel arrangements.

The association further urged authorities to take quick and effective measures to ensure the safe evacuation of all remaining Pakistani students in Iran. PIMSA emphasised that the safety and well-being of the students must be the top priority and that no student should face danger or difficulty during this crisis.
