Islamabad Reports 25 New Dengue Cases in 24 Hours

In Islamabad, 25 new dengue cases were reported in the last 24 hours. Out of these, 14 patients are currently receiving treatment in hospitals. According to reports, 18 cases were recorded from rural areas, while 7 cases came from urban regions.
The report revealed that 8 cases were reported from Bhara Kahu, 4 from Sohan, 2 from Sector G-5, and one case each from Alipur, G-13, G-6, I-8, I-9, Korail, Rawat, Sahala, Tarlai, Tarnol, and H-13. Authorities have identified several dengue hotspots to control the spread of the disease.
Dengue surveillance teams, in coordination with district administration, inspected 486 locations in affected areas. During the inspection, 15 positive hotspots were identified, and Assistant Commissioners took immediate action in these areas.
The Islamabad administration stated that over 40,000 anti-dengue activities have been conducted so far. Spraying was carried out in 27 patients’ homes and 1,129 surrounding houses, while fogging was done at 176 locations to prevent further spread of dengue.
