The game, held at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, confirmed United’s position in the top two points table, booking them a spot in the first qualifier of the playoffs.

Opting to bat first, Islamabad United unleashed an explosive batting display, amassing a towering total of 251 for 5 in their 20 overs. Openers Alex Hales and Sahibzada Farhan laid the foundation with a dynamic 153-run partnership.

Farhan hammered 73 off 41 deliveries, striking nine fours and three sixes, while Hales went on to top-score with a blistering 88 from just 35 balls, including eight sixes and six fours. Quick contributions from captain Shadab Khan (42 off 19) and Haider Ali (19 not out) ensured a strong finish for the batting side.
