Islamabad: Director General ISPR, Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has emphasised that it is time to transform “Bunyān Marsūs” — the iron wall of national unity — into a force directed against terrorism. He asserted that with the combined strength of the people and the armed forces, there will be no room for terrorists in Pakistan.

Speaking during an interactive session with students and teachers in Islamabad, the military spokesperson praised the youth’s passion, calling it a sign of Pakistan’s bright and promising future.

“Pakistan is a peace-loving nation, and every victory of ours is a victory for peace,” he said. Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif called for accountability of those who undermined the military and questioned its role, asking, “Has the army not fulfilled its duty?”

He further stated, “The army is of the people, and the people are of the army.” Paying tribute to educators, he encouraged students to respect their teachers, noting that the armed forces salute teachers for their contribution to the nation.

The session concluded with spirited chants of “Pakistan Zindabad” and “Kashmir Banega Pakistan”. The DG ISPR reassured the youth that future generations will continue to stand firm in defending the country.

He also highlighted external threats, particularly India’s involvement in supporting terrorism, urging the nation to stay united, as unity is Pakistan’s greatest strength.
