Jasprit Bumrah named ICC Men’s Player of the Month for December

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has named India’s Jasprit Bumrah as the ICC Men’s Player of the Month for December 2024, following his remarkable performances in the Test series against Australia.

Bumrah’s stellar show during the series played on Australia’s home soil earned him this prestigious recognition. His consistent and impactful bowling, which played a crucial role in India’s performance, was instrumental in securing his spot as the standout player for December.

Other notable nominees for the award included Australia’s Pat Cummins and South Africa’s Dane Paterson, both of whom put up impressive performances in the same period.
