Lahore: Chairperson of the Punjab Women Protection Authority and Member of the Provincial Assembly, Hina Parvez Butt, presented an important resolution in the Punjab Assembly today. The resolution paid rich tribute to the brave personnel of the Punjab Police for foiling a terrorist ambush by Khawarij militants on March 2 in Kot Mubarak, a border area between Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
However, the atmosphere in the assembly turned light-hearted when the Speaker of the Punjab Assembly, during Hina Parvez Butt’s speech, remarked:
“Just keep looking at me.”
This unexpected comment sparked laughter in the assembly, and Hina Parvez Butt blushed with embarrassment.
