King Charles Strips Prince Andrew of ‘Prince’ Title

London : King Charles III has officially stripped his brother, Prince Andrew, of the title “Prince” and ordered him to vacate his royal residence, Royal Lodge, Buckingham Palace confirmed on Thursday.

According to the official statement, Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, losing the right to be addressed as “Prince.”

The Palace said that the decision was made to protect the reputation and integrity of the Royal Family amid ongoing public criticism.

Sources inside Buckingham Palace revealed that the move came in response to mounting pressure following renewed scrutiny over Andrew’s alleged ties with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Earlier this month, Andrew had voluntarily relinquished his title as the Duke of York and other royal honors but retained the title “Prince.” However, King Charles has now formally revoked that title as well, effectively removing Andrew from all royal privileges.
