KP Chief Minister condemns firing on government convoy in Kurram

PESHAWAR: KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has strongly condemned the recent firing incident on a government convoy in the Bagan area of Kurram. In a statement issued on Thursday, Gandapur expressed his concern over the attack and immediately called for a report from high-ranking officials.

KP chief minister emphasised that strict action would be taken against the individuals responsible for the attack. He further stated that the firing was orchestrated by elements who oppose the peace efforts in Kurram, aiming to destabilise the region.

“The peace agreement reflects that the people of Kurram are committed to maintaining peace,” said Gandapur. “This unfortunate incident will not deter the government or the local elders in their efforts to restore peace and stability in the area.”
