Lahore Traffic Police Introduces Stricter Laws

Lahore: In a significant move to enforce traffic discipline, the Lahore Traffic Police has implemented five strict new traffic laws, under which violators will now face direct arrest or FIR registration instead of simple fines.
The new laws are designed to reduce dangerous driving habits in the city. Underage drivers will encounter severe penalties, and for the first time, their parents will also be held legally responsible. If a minor is caught driving, the parents could face fines or potential legal repercussions.
Additionally, reckless driving, overspeeding, unnecessary overtaking, and dangerous manoeuvres will no longer be tolerated. The police will take immediate legal action without issuing warnings or giving leniency.
Authorities stated that the purpose of these strict laws is to protect public safety and ensure better traffic management across Lahore. Citizens have been urged to follow traffic rules and refrain from allowing underage individuals to drive to avoid accidents and legal trouble.
