Lahore: Two Suspects Arrested for Selling Fake PSL Match Tickets

In Lahore, the Gulberg police arrested two suspects for selling fake Pakistan Super League (PSL) match tickets. The operation was conducted under the supervision of SP Ikhlaq Allah Tarar.

According to SHO Gulberg, Taimoor Abbas Khan, the arrested suspects, Ayaz Ahmed and Abdul Tawab, were posing as employees of TCS and selling fake PSL tickets to the public. Police apprehended them from various gates of the Gaddafi Stadium.

Reports indicate that Abdul Tawab was caught selling fake tickets at Gate No. 15, while Ayaz Ahmed was arrested at the FIFA Gate. The police recovered a large number of fake match tickets from the suspects, which they were attempting to sell to the public.

SHO Gulberg, Taimoor Abbas Khan, stated that cases have been registered against the arrested suspects, and further investigations have begun. He emphasised that the police will continue their strict actions against those involved in selling fake tickets to protect the public from further harm.

DIG Operations Lahore, Muhammad Faisal Kamran, praised the operation, stating that the police will continue their efforts not only to secure the match but also to prevent the business of fake tickets.
