Lahore’s air is toxic; breathing becomes difficult.

Air pollution continues to dominate in Lahore, with the city recording an AQI (Air Quality Index) of 738. Lahore ranks as the most polluted city globally, with the Indian capital, New Delhi, in second place.

Breathing has become challenging in polluted air; the air pollution level recorded in Defence Phase 8 is 800, while in Askari 10, it exceeds 700.

Additionally, the AQI has crossed 800 in areas around Pakistan Engineering Services, and air pollution levels have also reached their highest in Gulberg and its surroundings.
