“Love Guru” sets new Box Office record, earns PKR 700 million in 16 days

Released on June 6 during Eid-ul-Adha, the film Love Guru, starring Humayun Saeed and Mahira Khan, has achieved a record-breaking PKR 700 million in just 16 days.
The movie earned PKR 150 million within the first three days alone, and its total earnings have now tripled its production budget of PKR 250 million.
Love Guru has grossed PKR 370 million domestically and PKR 330 million internationally. The highest overseas revenue came from the UK, where it earned £75,000 within nine days, surpassing Bollywood’s Housefull 5 at the box office.
Industry analysts predict the film is on track to cross the PKR 1 billion mark soon.
Prior to the release, Humayun Saeed had expressed hopes of earning PKR 500 million, a target the film has already surpassed.
