LPG prices reduced ahead of Eid — Official notification issued

Lahore: In a welcome move ahead of Eid, the federal government has announced a reduction in LPG prices, with an official notification already issued.
New Prices: LPG per kg reduced from Rs. 245 to Rs. 241. Domestic cylinder down from Rs. 2893 to Rs. 2838. Commercial cylinders dropped from Rs. 11,130 to Rs. 10,920.
Chairman of the LPG Association, Irfan Khokhar, confirmed a Rs. 5 per kg cut and Rs. 55 reduction in domestic cylinder price.
He urged the government to enforce pricing at the source — the plants — rather than targeting small retailers, stating, “Shopkeepers don’t produce LPG; action should be taken against the real mafias.”
