Mahira Khan reflects on emotional wedding moment with son

Pakistani actress Mahira Khan recently shared a heartfelt memory from her wedding day, recalling the special moment when her son, Azlan, walked her down the aisle. The emotional occasion was a highlight of her private wedding ceremony held in October last year with her close friend and businessman, Salim Karim.

Speaking about the experience, Mahira revealed that it had always been her dream to have her son escort her to the stage on her wedding day. In an interview with BBC Asia Network, she expressed how proud she felt of Azlan and how much the moment meant to her.

“I have always imagined this moment, that my son would take me to the stage on my wedding day, and he did just that,” Mahira said, clearly emotional as she reflected on the bond she shares with her son.

The actress, who gained worldwide fame for her roles in the hit drama Humsafar and the film Raees, admitted that this was one of the most memorable and cherished moments of her life. She described her connection with Azlan as one of the best relationships of her life, making the occasion even more significant.
