Main Accused in PTI Founder Attack Case Sentenced to Life Imprisonment

GUJRANWALA – An anti-terrorism court (ATC) has announced its verdict in the attack case on the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), sentencing the main accused, Naveed, to life imprisonment under two separate charges.
The court found Naveed guilty of the murder of Moazzam and under terrorism charges, awarding him life sentences for each, along with a fine of Rs 500,000.
Additionally, Naveed received separate prison terms ranging from three to five years for injuring four individuals during the attack.
Meanwhile, the court acquitted co-accused Tayyab Jahangir Butt and Waqas due to lack of evidence.
