Maryam Nawaz: All economic indicators moving in the right direction

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz praised Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for his relentless efforts to save Pakistan from economic default, stating that his leadership had kept the country on a stable economic path.

Addressing the launching ceremony of the ‘Asaan Karobar Finance’ and ‘Asaan Business Card’ schemes in Lahore on Thursday, CM Maryam highlighted the positive shift in Pakistan’s economic indicators. She noted that the stock market had recently set new records, signalling a recovery in the national economy.

The Chief Minister emphasised the importance of industrialisation for the nation’s growth, sharing her commitment to studying global development models to drive Pakistan’s progress. “No country can achieve real progress without industrialisation,” she remarked.

Under the newly launched schemes, the Punjab government will offer Rs30 million interest-free loans to support aspiring entrepreneurs across the province.
