Meteorological Department: First day of fasting in Pakistan likely on March 2

The meteorological department on Monday predicted that the first fast in Pakistan is likely to be on March 2.

According to the department, the Ramadan moon is not expected to be visible on February 28, the 29th of Sha’ban. The new moon will be born at 5:45 AM on February 28. By sunset, the moon’s age will be 13 hours and 12 minutes.

The Meteorological Department also mentioned that for the moon to be visible, its age must be 19 hours or more.
