Mild Earthquake Jolts Parts of Karachi for Second Time in 24 Hours

Karachi – A mild earthquake measuring 3.2 on the Richter scale was felt in several areas of Karachi on Monday morning, marking the second such tremor in less than 24 hours.

According to the Seismic Monitoring Centre, the quake struck at 11:03 AM and was centred in the Quaidabad area. It had a depth of 10 kilometres beneath the surface.

Tremors were reported in various parts of the city, including Landhi, Malir, Quaidabad, and Port Qasim. Though the earthquake was relatively low in magnitude, it caused brief panic among residents, with some people rushing out of buildings as a precaution.

Fortunately, no casualties or property damage have been reported so far. Authorities have advised citizens to remain cautious and follow safety guidelines in case of aftershocks.
