PTA launches free mobile registration for overseas Pakistanis and foreign visitors


Islamabad: The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has introduced a free mobile phone registration system for overseas Pakistanis and foreign visitors.
Under this initiative, temporary visitors can register their personal mobile devices tax-free for up to 120 days during each visit to Pakistan. The entire process is fully digital and can be completed through the PTA Device Registration System (DIRBS) portal.
How to Register:Visit pta.gov.pk and sign up. Select the purpose, enter your personal details, and create an account. Then verify your account via the email or SMS link sent to you. Log in, select “Temporary Registration for Overseas Pakistanis/Foreign Nationals”. Enter your entry and departure dates, along with your passport or ID card number.
This free registration facility is available on every visit to Pakistan.
