Mohsin Naqvi congratulates the Saudi Minister on FIFA 2034 hosting rights

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has arrived in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where he was warmly received by Saudi Minister of State for Interior, Dr. Khalid Mohammed Al-Batal, and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ahmed Farooq. This marks the beginning of a high-level diplomatic visit aimed at strengthening bilateral ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

In his meeting with Dr. Al-Batal, both leaders discussed a wide range of issues of mutual interest, including enhancing cooperation in security, trade, and cultural exchanges. They also explored ways to further solidify the deep-rooted relationship between the two countries.

During the discussions, Minister Naqvi congratulated Saudi Arabia on being awarded the right to host the FIFA World Cup 2034. He expressed his sincere best wishes for the successful hosting of the event, which is expected to elevate the kingdom’s global stature.

Minister Naqvi reaffirmed Pakistan’s longstanding friendship with Saudi Arabia, calling it one of the country’s most trusted and cherished alliances within the Islamic world. He emphasised that the people of Pakistan take immense pride in the friendship between the two nations.

Additionally, Minister Naqvi lauded Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s Vision 2030, describing it as a visionary and historic blueprint for the kingdom’s progress and prosperity.

The Saudi Minister of State for Interior, Dr. Al-Batal, acknowledged the enduring ties between the two nations and expressed optimism about further strengthening bilateral relations. He highlighted the importance of this visit in advancing the diplomatic and strategic partnership between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
