Nandita Das: Faiz Ahmed Faiz Belongs Not Only to Pakistan but to India as Well

Indian actress and filmmaker Nandita Das, known for portraying Saadat Hasan Manto, recently visited Lahore to attend the Faiz Mela.

In an interview, she expressed her deep admiration for Pakistan and Lahore and spoke about her strong connection with literary figures Faiz Ahmed Faiz and Manto.

Nandita Das appreciated the hospitality of Lahore and its local cuisine, emphasizing that art knows no boundaries. She stated, “I love Lahore and Pakistan. Faiz Ahmed Faiz does not belong only to Pakistan but to us as well.”
