Negligence by Airline: Passenger Flying to Karachi Lands in Jeddah

Lahore – A shocking lapse in airline procedures led to a domestic passenger mistakenly boarding an international flight from Lahore to Jeddah instead of Karachi. The traveller had neither a passport nor a visa.

Airport authorities have blamed the private airline, calling it a serious safety breach, and have requested immediate action.

The passenger stated, “I showed my ticket to the crew, but no one warned me. Hours later, I realised I was not headed to Karachi.”

FIA is investigating the case. Return to Pakistan may take 2–3 days.
