WELLINGTON: New Zealand posted a formidable total of 220/6 in the fourth T20I against Pakistan, setting up a challenging chase for the visitors. The hosts showcased an aggressive batting display, led by Michael Bracewell’s explosive 46 off 26 balls, featuring five boundaries and two sixes.

After opting to bowl first, Pakistan’s bowlers found it difficult to contain New Zealand’s power hitters. Haris Rauf stood out with an impressive spell, taking 3 wickets for 27 runs in four overs, while Shaheen Shah Afridi had a tough outing, conceding 49 runs without a wicket.

The final over saw New Zealand adding 11 crucial runs, with Bracewell playing a key role in pushing the total past 220. The innings concluded dramatically as a yorker from Shaheen Afridi was edged past short fine leg for a four, giving New Zealand extra momentum.

With a win probability of 80.17% in New Zealand’s favour, Pakistan faces a daunting chase. They will need 221 runs in 20 overs to level the series.
