Oman and Saudi Arabia Announce New Company ‘G7’

MUSCAT: The Oman-Saudi Arabia Business Forum took place Wednesday at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre. The event brought together government officials, business leaders, and investors from both countries. It aimed to strengthen economic collaboration between the Gulf neighbors. Organized by the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) and the Federation of Saudi Chambers, it highlighted shared goals.

Omani representatives showcased OCCI’s services and programs through visual presentations. They highlighted incentives offered by the “Invest Oman” platform and new opportunities from the Oman Investment Authority. The Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (Madayn) also presented industrial prospects. These initiatives aim to support the business community and attract investment. Meanwhile, Saudi participants shared updates on economic reforms and key sectors under Saudi Vision 2030.

A key forum session titled “The Reality and Prospects of Economic Integration and Cooperation” discussed ways to expand bilateral trade. Speakers focused on boosting industrial integration and promoting private-sector partnerships. This dialogue emphasized the importance of closer economic ties. It aimed to create a roadmap for deeper collaboration between Oman and Saudi Arabia. Both countries seek to enhance regional growth through these efforts.

The forum also featured B2B meetings that allowed Omani and Saudi business owners to connect directly. These meetings created opportunities for new agreements and strategic partnerships. Such collaborations will help strengthen trade and investment between the two nations. Participants expressed optimism about future business ventures and cooperation. These interactions underline the commitment to fostering strong economic relations.

In a major announcement, both sides revealed the launch of a joint company named “G7”. Managed by the Serapis Entertainment Group, the company will focus on tourism promotion, brand marketing, and event organization. G7 will organize conferences, exhibitions, and international festivals. This new venture symbolizes growing collaboration beyond trade. It reflects shared ambitions to boost cultural and economic ties.
