Overspeeding van falls into Swat gorge, 11 passengers injured

A passenger van fell into a gorge in Swat’s Kabal area due to overspeeding, leaving 11 people injured, including 10 women. The accident took place in the Manja area, where the vehicle lost control and plunged down the slope.
Rescue officials said the injured were quickly shifted to Kabal Hospital. Doctors reported that the condition of five of the injured passengers is critical, while others are being treated for different injuries.
According to the authorities, the accident happened because of the driver’s reckless speed. Hospital staff immediately started providing medical aid, while local residents also helped rescue teams during the relief efforts.
