PAF's Aurangzeb Ahmad Becomes Most Searched Person in Pakistan

Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmad of the Pakistan Air Force has become the most searched person on Google in Pakistan. His name spiked in searches after rising tensions between Pakistan and India.

According to Google Trends, the keyword “Aurangzeb” hit its highest point at 2 AM on May 12. His bold and witty style during recent press briefings caught the public’s attention, making him a social media sensation.

In a viral clip, he said, “Let’s start where we left off — the PAF vs IAF match ended 6-0 in our favour.” This was a reference to six Indian aircraft reportedly destroyed by Pakistan, including three Rafales, one SU-30, one MiG-29, and a drone.

Aurangzeb Ahmad explained that the Pakistan Air Force launched Operation Bunyan-ul-Marsoos in response to Indian attacks on civilians on the night of May 6 and 7. Meanwhile, in India, “Ceasefire meaning” became the most searched phrase, with over 10 million searches.
