Pak Army rescues 96 Sikh citizens in Daska; community expresses gratitude

In flood-hit Daska, the Pakistan Army carried out a swift rescue and relief operation, safely evacuating 96 members of the Sikh community.

The community expressed heartfelt gratitude to Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and the military for their timely response.

A Sikh citizen highlighted that, on the Army Chief’s orders, even a helicopter was dispatched to ensure the safety of the sacred scripture of Baba Guru Nanak, which was successfully protected.

The Sikh community praised the army’s bravery and reiterated that Pakistan’s armed forces have always stood by them in times of crisis. They also condemned India’s water aggression and stated that the nation remains resilient and united, as it has always responded firmly to external threats.

They thanked the Government of Pakistan, the Punjab Government, and Field Marshal Asim Munir, noting that due to the prompt operation, no lives were lost.
