Pakistan and Iran Emphasize Muslim Unity During Doha Meeting
Doha: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian held a high-level meeting in Doha, highlighting the importance of unity within the Muslim world.

The meeting was attended by Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Field Marshal Asim Munir, and Defence Minister Khawaja Asif. Both leaders emphasised the need for solidarity among Muslim nations and discussed ways to strengthen ties between Pakistan and Iran.

During the talks, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned Israeli aggression and reaffirmed Pakistan’s complete solidarity with Qatar.

He expressed the desire to further enhance bilateral relations with Iran, noting that the Doha Summit had sent a clear and united message to Israel.

Prime Minister Sharif also conveyed his best wishes to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei. In response, President Pezeshkian praised Pakistan’s stance on Palestine, and both sides agreed to maintain close coordination on regional matters moving forward.
