Pakistan announces emergency aid package for Palestine

Islamabad: On the directive of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the Government of Pakistan has announced an emergency relief package for the people of Palestine, comprising 100 tons of humanitarian aid.

According to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), the aid will be dispatched within the next two days via two special cargo aircraft. The relief supplies will be delivered to the Palestinian territories through Jordan and Egypt.

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar will oversee the dispatch and coordination of aid, while Pakistani ambassadors in Jordan and Egypt will ensure effective distribution on the ground.

NDMA reaffirmed that the people of Pakistan stand in full solidarity with their Palestinian brothers and sisters, and will continue to extend all possible support.
