Pakistan has confirmed its playing XI for the second T20I of the three-match series against South Africa, set to take place at SuperSport Park in Centurion on Friday, December 13, at 9 pm Pakistan time.
The team will feature one change from the previous match, with Jahandad Khan replacing Sufyan Muqim in the lineup. Mohammad Rizwan will continue to lead the side, with the following players named in the squad: Saim Ayub, Babar Azam, Usman Khan, Tayyab Tahir, Muhammad Irfan Khan, Mohammad Abbas Afridi, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf, Abrar Ahmed, and Jahandad Khan.
South Africa currently leads the series 1-0 after winning the first match by 11 runs. The Proteas, led by an all-round performance from George Linde and a blistering half-century from David Miller, set a target of 183 runs. Pakistan could only manage 172-8 in their chase, with Linde’s impressive bowling performance (4 wickets for 21 runs) and his quickfire 48 runs from 24 balls proving to be the key factors in South Africa’s victory.
