Pakistan cricket team departs for New Zealand for T20 series

The Pakistan cricket team has left for New Zealand to compete in a five-match T20 series, set to begin on March 16 in Christchurch. The 16-member squad departed from Lahore, travelling via Dubai before reaching New Zealand.
Pakistan’s 16-member T20 squad:
- Captain: Salman Ali Agha
- Vice-Captain: Shadab Khan
- Abbas Afridi, Abdul Samad, Abrar Ahmed, Haris Rauf, Hassan Nawaz, Irfan Khan Niazi, Jahandad Khan, Khushdil Shah, Muhammad Ali, Muhammad Haris, Omair Bin Yousuf, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Sufiyan Muqeem, Usman Khan
Notably, Abdul Samad and Hassan Nawaz have received their maiden call-ups to the national squad.
Vice-captain Shadab Khan expressed optimism about the team’s prospects, emphasizing the fresh energy that young players bring. “Many young players have been included, and they bring a different, positive energy. We have high expectations from the newcomers, and we aim for success,” he stated.
