Pakistan Day
A grand ceremony will take place at Aiwan-e-Sadr on March 23 to mark Pakistan Day, a national event celebrating the historic Lahore Resolution of 1940.

President Asif Ali Zardari will be the chief guest at the event, which will also be attended by the prime minister, service chiefs, foreign diplomats, and other dignitaries. The ceremony will begin with the hoisting of the national flag by the president, followed by a salute presented by a Pakistan Army contingent.

One of the highlights of the celebration will be an aerial flypast by the Pakistan Air Force (PAF), showcasing the strength and skills of the country’s air warriors.

Pakistan Day is observed every year on March 23 to commemorate the passing of the Lahore Resolution, which laid the foundation for the creation of Pakistan in 1947. The event serves as a reminder of the nation’s unity and resilience.
