Pakistan Dispatches 23rd Relief Flight to Palestine

On the Prime Minister’s orders, Pakistan has sent its 23rd relief consignment to the people of Palestine. A special flight carrying 100 tons of aid departed from Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore. The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) organized the delivery. The aid includes essential food items like flour, rice, chickpeas, cooking oil, and ready-to-eat meals. Canned fruits are also part of the relief package.
So far, Pakistan has sent a total of 2,227 tons of humanitarian aid through 23 consignments. Governor Punjab Sardar Salim Haider Khan attended the send-off ceremony as the chief guest. Government officials, NDMA officers, and Alkhidmat Foundation representatives were also present. Their presence highlighted the national unity in supporting Palestine. The governor praised all involved for their dedication and quick response.
During his speech, Governor Salim Haider expressed deep support for the Palestinian people. He said Pakistan stands firmly with them in these difficult times. He thanked NDMA and welfare groups for ensuring timely aid. According to him, the suffering of the Palestinian people is a global concern. He stressed that such efforts show Pakistan’s commitment to justice.
He strongly condemned Israel’s actions in Gaza and Palestine. He said innocent civilians, including children, are being killed daily. He called Israel’s bombing of civilian areas a violation of humanitarian values. According to him, these attacks show a complete disregard for international laws. The governor described the people of Palestine as brothers of the Muslim world.
In conclusion, Governor Salim Haider urged the United Nations to take serious notice of Israeli aggression. He also called on all Islamic countries to unite in support of Palestine. He said collective action is urgently needed to stop the violence. The send-off event ended with prayers for peace and safety for the people of Gaza. Pakistan pledged to continue supporting them with every possible effort.
