Pakistan Downed Indian Jets, Disabled S-400 in May Conflict: PMYP Chief

Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP), Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, claimed a major military success against India. Speaking at a business community event, he said Pakistan shot down seven Indian aircraft during the May 2025 conflict. He added that Pakistan also disabled India’s advanced S-400 defense system. Khan claimed India was forced to seek U.S. intervention to end the engagement. He described Pakistan’s warfare technology as superior and strategic.

Khan further stated that Pakistan released India’s hacked systems on humanitarian grounds. This, he said, reflected moral strength along with technical expertise. He emphasized that the cyber and defense victory showed the strength of Pakistan’s military capabilities. The event also highlighted Pakistan’s ability to compete with major powers in modern warfare. Khan noted that this success sent a strong message to regional rivals.

Shifting focus, Khan spoke about youth development under the PMYP. He stressed the importance of skill-building for national progress. The Youth Task Force is working with NAVTTC to provide training in IT, hospitality, and technical fields. According to Khan, 35 youth delegations have been sent abroad for international exposure. These efforts aim to prepare the youth for global opportunities and leadership.

Member National Assembly Mirza Ikhtiar Baig also addressed the gathering. He praised Pakistan’s strategic and technological capabilities, citing the events of May 9 and 10. Baig claimed that Pakistan, with China’s support, had surpassed Europe in some defense technologies. He said the region’s power dynamics were shifting in Pakistan’s favor. He also stressed the role of partnerships in building national strength.

Both leaders combined defense success with development goals. They urged the youth and business communities to support national progress. The message was clear: Pakistan’s strength lies not just in military success, but in empowering its people. The event ended with a call to unity, innovation, and continued national growth.
