Pakistan Issues Travel Advisory Amid Rising Iran-Israel Tensions

Citizens Advised to Postpone Travel to Iran for Safety
In light of the escalating conflict between Iran and Israel, Pakistan’s Ministry of Interior has issued a travel advisory, urging its citizens to avoid visiting Iran for the time being. The advisory follows a series of Israeli airstrikes on Iranian targets, which have significantly heightened regional instability.
According to the official statement, the Pakistani government is closely monitoring the evolving situation. It is actively working to ensure the safety and well-being of its nationals currently in Iran. The authorities confirmed that, under the direction of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, immediate measures are being taken to facilitate the safe return of Pakistani citizens from the affected areas.
Regional Escalation Raises Global Concerns
Reports indicate that Israel launched major attacks on Iranian facilities, allegedly targeting and killing senior Iranian commanders and scientists. In response, Iran carried out retaliatory strikes, claiming it successfully targeted Israeli military sites.
The growing hostilities between the two countries have sent shockwaves through the Middle East, raising fears of a wider regional conflict. The situation has also impacted global oil markets, leading to a noticeable surge in international oil prices.
