Karachi: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has lauded the Pakistan Navy’s exceptional preparedness, stating that it prevented the enemy from using any maritime aggression.

Addressing officers and sailors at the Pakistan Navy Dockyard, the Prime Minister said that during heightened tensions with India, the Navy effectively safeguarded ports and trade routes, playing a vital role in national defence.

He praised the valour and dedication of naval personnel, emphasising that the combined strength and readiness of Pakistan’s armed forces ensured the enemy could not inflict any harm. “Our forces have made the nation proud,” he said.

Highlighting inter-services coordination, PM Sharif noted the Army’s precise use of Fatah missiles and the Air Force’s cutting-edge operations that delivered a strong message to the adversary—“a lesson they will never forget.”

He further remarked that the Pakistan Navy, just like in 1965, was fully prepared to defend national waters and rewrite history if necessary.
