ISLAMABADPakistan successfully thwarted multiple drone incursions by India using advanced GPS jamming technology, Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb announced during a joint press conference with military leaders from the Pakistan Army and Navy.

Speaking alongside DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmad Sharif Chaudhry and Vice Admiral Rab Nawaz, the Air Force official revealed that Indian drones attempting to target civilian areas were intercepted before causing any damage. The operation was made possible through coordinated efforts, cutting-edge radar surveillance, and rapid military response.

“Our forces were vigilant and ready. The hostile drones were neutralised before reaching their intended destinations,” said Aurangzeb, crediting electronic warfare tools, including GPS signal disruption, as a key factor in the defence strategy.

He emphasised that Pakistani radar systems had been closely tracking Indian aerial activity throughout the conflict, enabling timely countermeasures.

Highlighting Pakistan’s air superiority, Aurangzeb stated that the Pakistan Air Force had a clean record in the exchange, downing six Indian drones and aircraft without suffering any losses — a situation he described as a “6-0 victory” for the PAF.

Grateful for the success, he attributed the outcome to strategic planning and divine support. “This achievement is the result of Allah’s help and the dedication of our armed forces,” he added.
