Pakistan Observes World Parents Day, Honoring the Backbone of Society

Pakistan joins the global community today in marking World Parents Day, a day dedicated to celebrating the unmatched love, sacrifices, and guidance of parents in shaping individuals and society.

Observed every year on June 1st under the United Nations’ initiative, World Parents Day was first introduced in 2012. The occasion serves to recognise the pivotal role parents play in nurturing the emotional, moral, and social development of their children.

In a world increasingly shaped by fast-paced living and individual pursuits, the day offers a heartfelt reminder of the lifelong sacrifices parents make—from sleepless nights during infancy to unwavering support through life’s many phases.
