Pakistan Railways announces 20% fare reduction for Eid-ul-Fitr

LAHORE: Pakistan Railways has announced a 20 per cent reduction in train fares for Eid-ul-Fitr, offering special discounts on travel during the festive occasion.
A notification issued by Pakistan Railways stated that the discount will be applicable on all mail, express, and intercity trains for the first three days of Eid-ul-Fitr. However, the reduced fares will not apply to Eid special trains.
The fare reduction will also be valid for advance bookings, allowing passengers to plan their journeys at discounted rates.
Pakistan Railways has directed all booking offices to ensure strict implementation of the discount, ensuring that passengers benefit from the 20 per cent fare reduction during the designated period.
