Pakistan Railways revenue reaches an all-time high.

Pakistan Railways has achieved a historic milestone, with its revenue from passenger trains and freight services reaching an all-time high of 33 billion rupees in just five months. This impressive figure marks a significant increase compared to the 29 billion rupees earned during the same period last year.

The surge in revenue highlights the growing efficiency and profitability, as both passenger traffic and freight services have contributed substantially to its earnings. The railways’ ability to meet increasing demand for transport services and improve operations has played a key role in this financial success.

In addition to this achievement, Ameer Ali Baloch shared optimistic news regarding the ongoing development of the ML-1 (Main Line 1) project. He stated that the groundwork for the project is expected to begin by March 2025, further boosting and contributing to its growth in the coming years.
