Pakistan Set to Play Tri-Nation T20 Series in UAE Before Asia Cup

Pakistan will compete in a T20 tri-series with Afghanistan and the United Arab Emirates from August 29 to September 7. The tournament will be held at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium, with all matches beginning at 7 PM local time. The series aims to help all three teams prepare for the ACC Men’s T20 Asia Cup.

The Asia Cup will take place in the UAE from September 9 to 28. Organizers planned this tri-series to help players adjust to local conditions. It will also give coaches a chance to test different lineups before the bigger tournament begins.

The first match of the series will feature Pakistan against Afghanistan on August 29. Pakistan will face UAE the very next day, on August 30. Every team will play four group matches. The top two teams in the points table will qualify for the final on September 7.

The full group stage runs from August 29 to September 5. Other key matchups include UAE vs Afghanistan on September 1 and Pakistan vs Afghanistan again on September 2. Pakistan will play UAE once more on September 4 before the last group game between Afghanistan and UAE on September 5.

All matches are set for Sharjah’s iconic stadium, creating a consistent and fan-friendly experience. Each game will start in the evening to attract maximum viewership. The final will also be played under lights on September 7.
