The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) has suspended commercial air traffic over Lahore, Karachi and Sialkot, citing heightened security concerns linked to escalating tensions between Pakistan and India.

A Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) issued late Wednesday announced the closure of seven key air corridors. Officials confirmed that the restricted airspace would remain closed until 12:00 pm, impacting numerous regional flights.

Air travellers are advised to stay in close contact with their respective airlines and regularly check for the latest updates from the PCAA, as further disruptions to flight operations are expected in the coming hours.
